And why was getting up such a struggle you might well ask? Well it was such a struggle because I had to get up at 7am! Crikey! That's early (for me lately anyway); I haven't been out of bed before 12 noon for the last few days and I've become rather accustomed to it; it's nice! BUT today I had to get up and why? Because my lovely friend Liv has broken the power adapter for her MacBook and needs a new one and so today we're going on an adventure of epic proportions; to.. The Apple Store at Bluewater; a massive 'mall' / shopping center (for the un-initiated). She should be here in about 25 minutes and until then I'll be enjoying my lovely big pint of tea! For some reason my sweet tooth is shouting at me this morning and so I'm having sugar (which I'd given up) in my tea AND because the milk has gone off (smells sour; not for a walk) I'm having cream in my tea! Mmmm.. artery-clogging-goodness.. On that note do you ever wish we knew less about the affects food has on us health wise? It's not going to change what most of us eat most of the time so we're going to end up the same way anyway but we just feel more guilty about, and therefore have less fun, actually consuming whatever it is in the first place? (I just had a sip of my tea and it's amazing! - I know; only a British guy could say that but still.. gimme a sec, I'm going back for another sip! Damn that is good tea!)
Another reason I'm so tired this morning is because for some reason I've made it my job to exhaust Cat and not let her sleep EVER! She was trying to go to bed last night and just as she was about to go to bed I hopped on MSN and kept her awake for another hour, then when we finally did go to our respective beds and I couldn't help but call her. I missed the sound of her voice; I'm so smitten it's disgusting! lol, we stayed on the phone for ages just kinda falling asleep while I turned into a big soppy bastard of a man (shhh.. I'm manly really; boobies, cars and mining for coal; thats what I'm really about.. kinda lol). You know, at some point I'm going to have to do a private post and explain who this 'Cat' girl is, for now I'll just say this; she's incredible! (BUT she also reads my blog now so I'm putting off the introduction post because I know she'll get embarrassed lol).
This tea is so good!!
In other news.. um.. my New Years Eve was pants.. mum and I just stayed in and watched Goodfellas which despite being an AMAZING film still wasn't as much fun as a party but I was feeling like poo so I had to cancel my plans. Mind you I did spend the evening after that in a Video chat on Stickam with some of my Vimeo friends; Hannah, Pam, Karen and some others who dropped in including the legend that is Fuzzy Dave! lol. Was actually really fun to bring in the new year with the yanks (being Pam at the time) five hours after I did it the first time lol.
Oh! And the Kitty (who's name is actually now 'Muji' apparently!? Seriously?!) completely scared the poop out of me last night when she decided my socks (I just made a very funny typo on 'socks' making it 'cocks', I think for that I deserve a gold star for accidental comedy), anyway, descided my socks (and feet) were something that her claws should be in! So I snapped a pic quickly; I can take the pain for the sake of a photo! lol
One last thing I wanted to share with you was something my mum forwarded to me from her friend Mary (who I love to bits; she's awesome) which was just so cute I had to share it! (if anyone wants me to email them the original video file by the way just send me a quick message with your email address and I'll send it over, alternatively send all of your friends a link to my blog eh? lol)
That'll do for now, I've finished my pint of tea and I want to get another one brewing before Liv gets here!

Sorry I've not been very vox-ey lately, been a little rushed off my feet but I had to share possibly my proudest achievement with you all; a Giant Jaffa Cake! I know you don't have jaffa cakes in america so here's a wikipedia link. I just wanted to share this quickly with you.

Men, for the most part, cannot and will not dance and DEFFINATELY should not, I saw this video and thought of a conversation Phil and I had at the pub a couple of weeks back..
In other news my back is still not working as it should so I am STILL at home trying not to move too much.. urgh! Maybe I'll make it up to Uni tomorrow? I'm tempted to wait until Saturday now though I must admit though I feel bad for Hannah; all alone in the flat by herself. A nice short blog from me today because, well.. I've not done much today, did some knitting mind you; that's right ladies! You're looking at a real man! :D

So it's clear by now that I have way too much time on my hands! I've spent most of my evening uploading videos onto Facebook and it kinda got me in the mood to open up iMovie and have a play and Re-vamp that old favourite of ours; Hunting the Lusted! The original was a classic that's for sure but now we have the Epic cut!!
